Thanks. I'm also patching some parts in the aaRGB engine to fix some compile time warnings. I'll push them soon.
I've created a tarball of version 0.42 on my old site for AUR of ArchLinux, but releasing here as suggested might really be a better idea. I just need to go check out how it works and then I'll do it for v0.43 with my current patches.
Thank You for your contribution.
Pushed the patches for v0.43. Hopefully I've changed the version number everywhere. Planning to make a release of 0.43 in a day or so.
Sounds great! I'll wait for the 0.43 release with the Gentoo ebuild then.
You can reach release v0.43 here:
There were still some old version numbers left in the code, so I updated those and released 0.43.1 now.
Small updates for consistency:
Gentoo developers suggested tagging and releasing aaphoto-0.42 in GitHub and using the downloadable archive file for packaging instead of relying on snapshots based on commit IDs. So I took another round to see if there's anything to cleanup before a release.
What do you think about releasing 0.42? Feel free to let me know if I missed something or if there are any additional steps I can help with! :)
