Can we have a tile that is not part of the path AND towers cannot be built on?

I was thinking of a swamp

@bilbobagginsshire would the swamp be something that the Heroes have to destroy before moving on, or would it be something that the heroes take damage from by walking over and lasts for a set amount of time?
