New tower/monster/potion system #47

At certain times through out the game you get items. There are three types of items: T - Tech (Creates average towers/monsters/potions; Not good in any area, but not bad either) C - Chemical (Creates slow towers/monsters/potions, but high damage and explosion or freezing effects) A - Alien (Create strange and powerful but unpredictable towers/monsters/potions)

You can spend an item to get a tower/monster/potion or upgrade a tower/monster. Here is an uncompleted list of the available towers/monster/potions:

Towers:

T - Bullet tower C - Dust tower A - Slime tower

TT - Higher level bullet tower TC - Bomb tower TA - Laser tower CC - Ice tower CA - Curse tower AA - Wormhole tower

TTT - Lightning tower TTC - Missile tower TTA - TCC - TCA - TAA - Death ray tower CCC - Radiation tower CCA - CAA - AAA - Anti matter tower

Monsters:

T - Robot C - Zombie A - Bug creature

TT - TC - TA - UFO CC - Abomination CA - Yeti AA - Shifter

TTT - TTC - Talos TTA - Gravitron TCC - TCA - TAA - CCC - Mummy CCA - Demon CAA - AAA - Overlord

Potions: T - High damage C - Explosion A -

Yeah, I should have that explained better.

Also, order doesn't matter. If you build a tech tower and then upgrade it with a chemical item, it is the same as building a chemical tower and upgrading it with a tech item.

If you can think of any ideas for the blank spaces that would be great!

This was an idea I had a while ago, but now @Logi0's idea seems to fit in with it...

So you start with 10 'basic' parts (10ts, As, and Cs,) but also with 10 'vials (Potion base)' 'Turret chassis (tower base)' and 'Canisters (Actually TB named, base monster)'. Every monster has an even (too difficult?) chance of dropping one of these parts when killed.

So say you want to make a tower, you just place a tower base and click it to be given the option of adding an Tech, Chemical or alien part, and the given the same thing for the Lvl 2 upgrade (max level is Lvl 3).

If it sounds really bad, it's probably because it's just a random idea from my random mind which seemed like a good idea at the time

how about when theres only one it’s a potion, two it’s a monster, three it’s a tower like this:

Potions:

T – Fire potion C – Ice potion A – Acid potion

That wouldn't be the easiest thing, why not make it 1 is tower, 2 is monster and 3 is potion? (it would be too hard to get any permanent damage-causers if towers were 3)

@TheSentinel387 Then users only have 3 towers to choose from. I like the original idea except we could use less materials for potions (like 2 maximum).

Yes, there would be way to little choice for user if there was only 3 towers and 3 monsters.

@sru Potions are currently made using only one item

it would b too easy to get towers if we did that. we could do 1 is monster and 2 is potion, but then we don’t have very many monster choices...

I think three potions is okay, so potions should b the one material, and then either monsters or towers would be two materials.
