Using the LedgerX public websocket API we're able to get live top of the orderbook updates for an option chain with over 150 different contracts and save the data to a RedisTimeSeries type as well as publish updates to listening subscribers. An example subscriber, an interactive plot showing the implied volatility skew of the selected expiration and type (call or put).

Hi @loganrudd Thanks for your submission for Redis Hackathon event. Do we have architecture diagram for this project?

It would be great if you can add data modelling - How data is accessed and stored in the project README file.

loganrudd commented 2 years ago

Hi @ajeetraina, sounds like a good idea! I should have time to make an architecture diagram this week and add it to the readme. Thanks for mentioning it! I should try and finish the docker stuff I was working on too...

ajeetraina commented 2 years ago

Thanks @loganrudd for the response. Also, it would be great if you can add details around:

Once you populate the above information, I shall add it to Redis LaunchPad https://launchpad.redis.com - a hub of 75+ apps that showcases the power of Redis and Redis Modules.

Hi @loganrudd Any update?

uberscientist commented 2 years ago

@ajeetraina I just updated the README.md with an architecture diagram and little explanation of the data flow. I could add more detail for the bokeh app (client browser at least), but I didn't think about it until a little later.

ajeetraina commented 2 years ago

Awesome. Is it possible for you to add the below details:

  1. How data is accessed?
  2. How data is stored?
  3. Redis CLIs used.

Once these details are in place, I shall add it to Launchpad site.

@ajeetraina I updated the readme again, let me know if that's what you were looking for, thanks

ajeetraina commented 2 years ago

Perfect. Thanks. Will let you know once I add it to https://launchpad.redis.com

Thanks.
