The removable piece that goes from the linker to the card simply uses a slightly different layout of the cables going into the cart connector. If we make a new cable here, we should be able to hook the DITTO mini Flasher up to a PokeCard512. I believe (but am not certain) that this layout is the same for both PokeCard512 rev 2 and 2.1.
For the code, we should ideally only be changing the cart detection method for the linker. There may be some other massaging necessary on the linker, but there should be no linker-based conditionals in the card class itself.

If we ever want to do this the other way (PokeFlash to DITTO mini), it will require a male JST SH-style connector since the female one's cables are wired to the board. Those are here:
