  1. expand the left panel when viewing a pdf,
  2. the buttons in the top right corner mixed up.

I believe I may have the same issue. In my case, using Windows 11 and both with or without frameless window, if I remember well (have to wait a few days to get back home and confirm this).

But generally speaking, the displaying of the whole area (plugins' buttons toolbar and standard top right corner buttons) have more or less always been a huge mess with unclickable buttons, displaying conflits, disappearing ones, lack of space (many plugins), truncated drop-down menus... At least for several semesters (I wasn't a user before version 0.8.something)...
