We would love some help maintaining this plugin. Please comment on this issue if you have experience working with gelf and/or this plugin and are ready to review and merge existing pull requests. Thanks much!

Hi,

Is this still required? I'm currently facing various issues on this (and several other) plugins and doubting whether to create a own network stack versus trying to get improvements in. However, questions do not seem to be answered and I'm wondering on general support of the various in- output plugins.

Can you please give me a quick update and maybe we should than have a chat on where we are and ideas we may both have.
