I don't know what "hash type" means. Hashes are one-way and cannot be reversed.
https://github.com/elastic/logstash/issues/6892 will provide a way to securely provide credentials to Logstash without having them be written in plain text.
I have also filed https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-mixin-rabbitmq_connection/issues/43

It is not elegant to directly type in the password ("ssl_certificate_password") as string for the ssl certificate. This plugin should support hash type or password type for better security. Is there a workaround that I can do for the same? Could you please help in rectifying the issue.
