Counter metric_type deprecated? #9

Hi there,

Just started using this plugin today and I started sending metrics to DataDog but noticed that the counts were not adding up.

When I contacted DataDog, they mentioned that the use of the counter metric type is now deprecated and count should be used.

Has anyone else run into this problem where their counts weren't matching?

Apologies if this isn't the best forum. I made some inquiries on Freenode in #logstash and #datadog to no avail.
