Doesn't work with HTML5 input types #95

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set input type to "email" or "url" or any other HTML5 input type

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 - Watermark text
 - Nothing

Please provide any additional information below.
 - This is probably not technically an issue since the documentation clearly states that it works for text, password, and search input types, but could you guys make it HTML5 compatible? That would be super awesome :-). Here's a link for a list of the types and details: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_form_input_types.asp. I'm to understand these types degrade gracefully with earlier versions of browsers.

HTML5 types were implemented in the latest release back in August.

Hmmm--wasn't working for me last night and I just downloaded jquery-watermark
about a week ago via NuGet. I'll take another look tonight. Thanks.

This plugin is only available here. Sounds like you are using somebody else's
plugin, and reporting a problem here.
