Maybe make the walkway thinner (so there's no recess in it) and add rails on the concrete on the other side so that the bridge is supposed to slide in before the vault closes ? 20171101022750_1

The walkway is probably moved with a forklift.

Putting the rails there will be a save breaking addition.

Besides, you would only have to get the forks through the door to raise the walkway.

@Yuccaa Out of curiosity, how would that be a save breaking change? It's just a visual thing, so I agree that this is not a priority. But in what way would it break saves to change the model?

If we change/add static world elements, the structure of the map file will change, resulting in loss of saves.

I actually noticed that too. For me it implies that this door wasn't used for quite some time and this walkway was added here as a temporary solution (that obviously became permanent). Still, it's not clear how it should be used by design.
