7 years ago Wait...I just realized as soon as I hit submit...Tunnels don't have the greatest radio reception in the world...Maintenance trams probably don't have radios, or at least not the "civilian" type...

I feel this long and silent ride could use some music. Maybe some ambience tune by Mr. Langham ? Either playing by itself or through a usable radio in the maintenance train.
Alternatively, that ride would be a good opportunity to update the player on the situation in Stalburg. Maybe Mark could turn on the radio to a news broadcast. This could be adjusted to the player's actions. Some news examples :
The city is still experiencing power blackouts due to insufficient supply while the construction of the new nuclear power plant is underway (as shown in the newspapers in office) / the city authority reports a sudden and still unexplained rise in available power (if the player fixed the Hammer Valley Dam)
Same for the water if the player fixed the pumping station in tunnel2 / cut the flow to get down the main pipe. (Unless that pumping station is not directly connected to the city's water network but to the Pitheath Water Treatment Plant instead, in which case it wouldn't be noticeable for the public. You can't get clean water to come out of the treatment plant, regardless of what you do, so...)
Freight train damaged by fallen tree causes massive delays / freight train accident nearly averted.
Police investigating suspect smoke that briefly came out of an abandoned steel plant, authorities report no health hazard as the black smoke only lasted for a few minutes and quickly dispersed afterwards / Police investigating murder case after a still unidentified corpse was found inside a building formerly owned by the now bankrupted Bergmann Group.

Stalburg region hit by series of small earthquakes (tunnel collapsing in cascade underneath the city)
Metro strike dispersed by police.

I don't think any news regarding the Hammer Valley dam would be made public by that point, or else there would be a city-wide evac going on.
