Images not modal in iOS #587

I have implemented Lightbox (within Shopify). It works a treat in the browsers I've tested (Chrome and Safari on OSX). When I test the site on an iPad, however, clicking on the image results in the image being opened up in the browser (i.e. the javascript doesn't seem to be kicking in)

I'm guessing i've done something not right because no one else seems to be having this issue!

Can anyone shed light on it?

Ah, I solved it ... I down graded muy versio of JQuery to 2.1.4 (from 2.2 something) and it worked
