Default Printer crashes L&F #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open application in desktop mode with no printer containing "zebra"

Result:

Hangs GUI

Workaround:

Start program with a valid printer name:

java -jar "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\jzebra.jar"
printername=microsoft

Note:  This behavior is in the Desktop Application mode only and does not 
affect the
Applet mode.

Desktop Application mode will be removed in future versions, so the bug will be
closed as "Done - Non coding task".

The bug will be left open until the API section of the tutorial has been 
written and
Java programmers can implement their own GUI.

No coding task.  Desktop version removed from codebase.
