There isn't any way at the moment, and not a feature I am planning. The current unload area is just the same as the loading area, but offset to one side. What is your use case? I think it is usually safer to unload alongside the trailer, rather than perpendicular, especially for a very long trailer.
I know I asked about this before, and I thought it was worked out. When I unload the logs, they spread out and end up against the trailer, so when you pull away, you drag some of the logs out of the pile. No big deal.
I do find it's easier to load logs when you pull up perpendicular to a log pile, you can get all the logs on without moving the trailer closer to the pile. When you load sometimes, it can't reach all the logs when the pile is parallel to the trailer then you have to move the trailer closer.
I guess this is the problem with a one-fits-all arrangement for the loading trigger. I could add in a new parameter to set the loading area offset, but if it is happening on all log tailers, I could also just increase the size. Can you give me a specific example to reproduce the issue?
Somehow i may have an older version of your mod in the mods folder. I know you updated that issue awhile back and it was working fine then. I just made sure downloaded the latest version, and it seems to be ok now, just enough space to drive away without dragging the logs out of the pile.
I guess the only issue would be, if you load from a parallel log pile, the auto load may not reach all the logs to get a full load on, so have to move close to the pile, but no big deal. So just have to pull up to the log pile perpendicular so you can get all the logs on, that way the logs don't keep getting further away from the trailer as it auto loading the logs.
Thanks again for the great mod. It's so easy to add this mod to the trailers.
Not an issue, but was just wondering if there is a way to unload logs perpendicular to the trailer?
