No option at all to work with non-Latin charset:

Since the names of categories and products are also their slugs, trying to add a non-Latin product or category results in "-_en.xml" data files.

newly created Latin category/product can be edited into a non-Latin , but not created as such ...

Recent commit should fix most of the transliteration problems. Care to test them again?
