Furigana Inserter 1.0.14 seems to make my browser hitch every so often

I'm using FI 1.0.14 on FF 3.6 and XP SP3.  It seems that with the addon
enabled, my Firefox seems to freeze up for a moment at least once every few
minutes.  The hitch seems to last half a second or less, but it's very
noticable if it happens while I'm scrolling the page or there's some kind
of animation (Flash, GIF, JS).  It happens whether or not I have clipboard
monitoring on.  It also seems to happen no matter the content of the page
I'm looking at (though I haven't tried looking at something like a blank
page to test, heh).  

Disabling FI makes the issue go away until I enable it again.  I still have
the dictionary and Ruby addons enabled.

Is there any more information I could provide?

I have also noticed that Firefox sometimes freezes, but i didn't think that FI 
was
causing this. I don't know why this is happening.

I don't see this issue anymore on Firefox 3.6.6, so I'm closing this bug.
