Really high CPU load with just a few flakes #52

I have noticed that the simple snowflakes effect eats up to 25% of CPU in chrome with default settings in the demo. image With 100 flakes it get's up to 40-50%. image

This behaviour might not be ideal for laptop and mobile users as it might unnecessarily drain the battery.
