Not a real issue, just a question.

Is there no possibility that this addon will be updated to xenforo2 in the future?

Hey @NearToDepression - thanks for getting in touch.

It's something a few folks have asked about and I'm happy to entertain any serious commercial proposals (see https://github.com/lol768/XenForo-MCASSOC/issues/36#issuecomment-478361584), but the nature of XenForo is that I'd have to shell out for a license upgrade and then spend perhaps close to a week rewriting the add-on against XenForo 2 to re-implement all functionality.

Time is not something I have a lot of currently, so I have to prioritise paid projects and just do small amounts of open-source stuff as and when I can.

I'd be very happy to review a pull request which added XF 2 support.

Additionally this codebase is open-source, so other day-to-day XF2 add-on developers would be completely free to port it themselves on a commercial basis if they wished (complying with the license of course). So if you (or anyone else) is interested in getting this updated as a commercial project, it's possible that they may be able to do it for less than I'd quote.

@lol768 any news? i wanna upgrade to XF2 but i can't because this addon... and none making some similiar addon

Nothing has changed; I've had some enquiries but am yet to receive an offer to fund the work in line with a typical market rate so at present I have to prioritise my other work.
