Maybe you want time to go faster? Perhaps slower? Maybe you want a nice cinematic shot where time goes flying by without having to record a long time lapse?

There would be a checkbox to enable time ticking in the config. Then you would control speed using a slider. There could be a button to enable/disable the feature in case you don't want it enabled.
