First, massive appreciation and props to @lonekorean for creating this super useful utility. Thank-you so much.

We wanted to flag that we have started an active fork here:

https://github.com/flowershow/wordpress-to-markdown

We started the fork for ourselves because we needed to make various improvements quite rapidly (e.g. we wanted to add tests, add support for author migrations).

However, we also noticed that perhaps this repo is no longer so actively maintained (e.g. quite a few open PRs). Totally understand how this happens!

We'd be very happy to contribute back to this main repo if it is active. And we'd happy to merge PRs from others in the fork for now if that would be useful.

Thanks, it worked perfectly for me (tested on ~150 articles).

Totally understand the fork, it was the right call so that you wouldn't be blocked by my inactivity. 👍

@lonekorean are you are maintaining again? that's great if so and we can look to merge back upstream.
