Psionic transmitter mission + 'resistance contacts' sitrep issue #1247

I'm on one of the missions where you have to destroy nodes to extend the timer and the sitrep is active where you can pick up a reward from a resistance member. I found two rebels standing near each other, one of them worked and gave a reward, the other was actually a network node. I first thought the rebel was standing on top of it and blocking the graphics of the node so I just shot it. I think the timer was increased but I didn't really check. The next turn I realised the rebel was still there and I could fleche her. I tried it out and my shinobi ran towards the rebel, causing her to run away in panic. Fleche animation played and '7 damage' popped up, then the woman vanished. I'm not using any gameplay altering mods, difficulty is legend.

EDIT I've just reached the transmitter and there's another node disguised as a resistance member. I let this one live. fleche

This seems highly likely to be a vanilla bug. Might be able to exclude this sit rep from this mission type.
