First sorry for my bad English!

Sorry, maybe i'am a developer for webapplication in java. But i have no
experience with android.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
So, if i download droidwall 1.5.1 and try to enable it.
2. I get the following exception:

Could not acquire root access. You need a rooted phone to run DroidWall.
3. If this phone is already rooted please make sure DroidWall has enough
permissions to execute the "su" command.
Error message:
java.io.IOExcetion:Error running exec(). Command: [su, -c
/data/data/com.googlecode.droidwall.free/app_bin/droidwall.sh] Working
Directory: null Environment: null

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
running firewall

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SGS GT-I900, Firmware-Version:2.2.1, Kernel:2.6.32.9 root@sep-57 #1,
Buildnummer:FROYO.XXJQ3

Please provide any additional information below.

As i told before I'm very new beginner but "root@.." does mean, that
whoami=root? So what is the problem?

2.) I want to start programming android application. So can you give me some
tipps where to start with a good programming environment?

Thanks in advanced.
