Did you try running "Root Checker" from the market? Your phone must be rooted
and DroidWall just runs "su" to acquire root, so there is not much I can do if
that is not working properly...

I have an LG Optimus V. Droidwall was running fine but after upgrading
Superuser, Droidwall, and some other apps it has stopped getting root access.
Every other root required app is still working and I see Droidwall in
Superuser's accept automatically list. Having seen comment 1, I installed root
checker and it verifies that I have root access. I can't figure out why every
other app still works. Though, droidwall is the only root app in Superuser
with a command different than "/system/bin/sh".
