Prototype dApp allowing COVID-impacted business owners to issue vouchers that could be redeemed by customers once social distancing measures are lifted. Aimed at hairdressers, restaurants and other kinds of SME that cannot lawfully operate due to government restrictions.

The plan is to prototype the solution using smart-contracts to illustrate benefits of using blockchain (Ethereum) and representing vouchers as tokens. Hopefully, one could demonstrate superiority over existing alternatives that issue such vouchers using centralized platforms. 4) bardi370 has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Action Plan: COVID19 is one of the biggest crises the world has faced in the past several decades. It has suffocated health care systems and crumbled economies all around the world. We need to unite and fight against it. Strengthening our supply chains is extremely important in achieving success in this great fight. Starting next year, we must distribute COVID-19 vaccines to nearly 7 Billion people on earth to ensure that we have completely wiped out this disease. We also have to ensure that all other immunization programs are also carried out uninterrupted. However, the current supply chain management tools are incapable of solving this problem as they operate in silos. This makes the supply chain data fragmented and complex to be used by modern machine learning tools to extract valuable insights. The current tools are also centralized at country-level making them less transparent in terms of vaccine procurement and distribution.

StaTwig’s supply chain management tool, VaccineLedger ensures that all stakeholders have completely visibility of all vaccines at national, state and district levels. The platform also provides real-time decision support to detect outages and derive actionable insights for route optimization and real-time demand forecasting. As the platform leverages blockchain technology to decentralize data and decision-making, it helps build trust, transparency and authenticity in the supply chains.
