An option to set a tunnel to automatically connect when the phone boots would
be awesome.

I don't know. This would only save you one click on a widget. You would still
see the Warning screen you need ack.

I would also like to have this feature. I known that i would need to ACK the
warning screen, but i could no longer forget starting and connecting my tunnel.

I was hoping that this feature could be implemented so that no user interaction
is necessary after the connection has been established.

In my mind it would work something like this:

- When the VPN tunnel is configured the option "Survive reboots"
- Users connects tunnel as normal and ack warning.
- The tunnel would then ALWAYS auto restart and reconnect without any user
interaction, even after a restart of the phone.
- To cancel this state the user would have to manually dis-connect the tunnel.

Sorry. I can implement a "Restart active VPN connection after reboot" feature
but I am afraid this will not work without user interaction since I cannot
circumvent the VPN Confirmation dialog (everything else would be a bug).

That would be totally sufficient for me. That way i would never forget starting
openvpn and connecting my tunnel. The confirmation click would not bother me at
all.
