Apple OSX 10.7 doesn't want to mount drobo capsule.  

The network backup disk does not support the required AFP features.

Is it just netatalk that needs to be updated to support droboshare?

Yes. I'm in the process of working on it. There is some bugs in netatalk 2.2 
that is preventing it from working right now, so I'm in contact with the author.
