Would be interested to know why maven dependencies haven't been cached on Travis. Thank you.

Since June 15th, 2021, the building on travis-ci.org is ceased. Please use travis-ci.com from now on.

We will switch to Github Actions for continuous builds.

Thanks, @dkocher. I just wanted to know the reason for not using maven caching in the past. I am doing research and your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
