consent videos cut off before parent finishes statement (waiting on feedback from researchers) #392

Description Issue with video_sharing_consent or exp-lookit-video-consent in consent_garden.

The videos on the consent manager cutting off before a family fully consents in their submitted video. We have experienced ~6 families with this recording issue. Usually what happens is that they begin recording their consent video and the video lasts for about 4-6 seconds. The families' videos are typically cut off right after they state "I am this child's parent or legal guardian" and right before they complete the full consent and say that they and their child agree to participate in the study. There have been 6 families with this issue and below are the child IDs for those who have been affected: CHFJ72 cCd2Nc ED7YBW dJ2ZSQ SPUPMD SUDJ7Y

Expected behavior We expect that the videos submitted to the consent manager using the lookit/ember-lookit-frameplayer will display videos where parents are providing their full consent. We are not sure if this is user error where recordings are stopped before the full statement is recorded or if the frame player is having some issues with the video recording functions.

@nataliequint3ro I'm really sorry about this - thanks for reporting, and I'm looking into it now. Are you able to reproduce the problem when you run through the study yourself?

Hi Becky,

No worries! Thanks for getting back to me. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue with the consent video when I preview the study myself. I can try to have someone else do it on their account and see if that reproduces it either!

As far as I can tell, this issue was fixed by #393/#394. There are a few studies that were reporting this problem, and I have not seen any further clipped recordings in the ~50 consent videos that I've seen come in since these studies updated to the latest version.

Please post here if this continues to be a problem on the latest EFP version and I will re-open the issue.
