Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.execute openvpn settings
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I've recently change my phone, from htc desire and htc hd2 (both with android
froyo) to the desire hd. Before the fix htc route work perfectly, but now with
the desirehd I've to remove manually the rule gprs (ip rule del from all lookup
gprs) to make openvpn working.

What version of the product are you using?
0.4.7

Which Android phone are you using?
Desire HD

Which firmware version are you using?
Leedroid HD 2

Please provide any additional information below.
Thanks for alla your work Friedric!

Thanks!
Davide

I can confirm this problem also exists on the HTC Desire (O2 Froyo Stock) - I
have to issue 'ip ru del table gprs' for the VPN traffic to be routable.

This problem still exists on Gingerbread 2.3.4 (HTC Sensation XE) stock HTC ROM
(rooted, obv.). Deleting GPRS rules makes traffic flow over tunnel when
switching to GPRS, even with fix HTC routes enabled (which otherwise works OK
for wifi connections).

Is there any chance the author will be improving the functionality? Because at
the moment, the VPN is only good from a manual perspective - I can't trust it
to work seamlessly when switching IP transit medium.
