Whitespace in ckeditor-track-changes is changing the cursor focus #122

Hello,

I'm using tracked changes plugin (1.1.30) along with CKEditor (4.6.1) and I have an issue with tracked changes!

When track changes are on and I add a space at the end of the line, the focus gets back to the previous word and I need to click again after the space added and only then I'm able to add my content.

I downloaded the new version "1.2.28" of ckeditor-track-changes and tried updating my project with this new version. After that, few things are not working...

  1. To start tracking changes I need to click the button two times.
  2. Even after starting track changes, when I type something, it doesn't consider under tracked changes.
  3. When I add a space, then the focus gets out of the CKEditor text box and I again need to click inside the editor and then when I write something, it works fine.
  4. Accept One/Reject One buttons are never enabled now after updating the track changes plugin.

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks in anticipation!

Thanks, Binod Paikaray

Upgrading ckeditor-track-changes plugin from 1.1.30 to 1.2.28 is not working properly! Please help...

If you can't give support then why do you create these type of channels like "Issues"? I had raised this query 6 days ago and didn't get any single response yet!

Hi, Please accept our apologies for the late reply. Regarding the version "not working properly", I suggest you clone/download again. There was a serious glitch in 1.2.28 and we only pushed the fix a few days ago. As for your initial report, we are working on a major revision to the tracking engine and haven't got the capacity to fix problems in the current version. The whole keyboard interception paradigm, on which the current engine relies, simply doesn't hold water and is susceptible to too many browser quirks and ckeditor workarounds around them.

Thanks very much for your response and apologise for my harsh words above. Let me download it again and try to fix this issue.
