TypeError: $el.data(...).split is not a function #85

Doesn't work for me at all. Slider does not render, I still see the input field and just get this error: TypeError: $el.data(...).split is not a function in the simple-slider.js file at line 376. Using jQuery v1.11.1 and Bootstrap v3.2.0.
