[INFO]Applying freeze patch for C6 state? #29

I've encountered random system freeze. When it happens, the only solution is to long press the power button to reset ASUS X205TA. I tried to find some solutions from the Internet.

According to the ArchLinux wiki, they had a solution which is add intel_idle.max_cstate=1 in grub settings to remove all the power saving modes.

However there's even a better solution provided by Intel, I found it from here. It disabled all C6 state. Link to the patch : https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=223851
