Just thought I'd add an issue here in case anyone else ran into the issue:
Currently qtwebkit is broken on nixpkgs-unstable. The pull request to fix it is here: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/287423.
This breaks certain packages(notably PyQt5, resulting in desktop and desktop-full breaking).
