No Downlink Reception #3

Hi, I am trying to receive a downlink message from the server and modify certain parameters based on that in the basic modem (LORA), so far only the join request works and I can successfully send uplink data (temperature data / other custom data) but unable to receive any other downlink data. Is there way or the APIs like "modem_request_tx" for reception ? How do I make reception continuously ON for certain time period.
