I, as someone else interested in postcolonial theory, think that the premise behind this project is fascinating. The obvious feedback that I can offer is to develop the website so that it more accurately captures what your project is trying to display. Take down the "lorem ipsums" and replace them with descriptions of what's going on.

That being said, I'm curious about the methodology behind your project. I snooped in on your GitHub repo and saw the schema and some of the xml documents. I see that you're tagging parts of speech and marking them according to how they relate to Orientalism. Did you hand-code the words that portray the exotic, oriental other? How did you decide what to tag? I also notice that you tag each word individually. Did you consider tagging phrases?

Finally, what did you find out through this project? How are the words that you tagged being used to portray the Indians in this book?
