If you're on a 13" macbook you're gonna have issues with positioning. If you have a retina flavor, you can change your display resolution to 'more space', which will give you about 1050px of vertical room. The overlay is 985px tall, so that might be worth trying.
Even when I increase my resolution it always goes to the top of the screen cutting off part of the image. Also as a side note I tried using larger monitor and increasing the resolution the overlay still remained at the top of the screen. Thank you

What is your vertical resolution on the larger monitor? SimFinger should stick to the lower left of your screen, so if it's getting cut off that should mean you don't have enough vertical room. Anything less than 985px will cut off SimFinger.
Another way to test this is to switch your sim to landscape and then launching sim finger (the older version won't support landscape for iphone 5 resolutions, but the most recent update to the app will work). If SimFinger sticks to the lower left, then we can be pretty sure it's a resolution issue.
I have already tried every fix on your blog and everything I can find online. Nothing is working to fix the issue if you have any other suggestions please let me know. I am attaching an image of what is happening.
