It would be great to have hoverable footnotes to reference citations as done by distill.pub like blogs and sites: https://alshedivat.github.io/al-folio/blog/2021/distill/ https://image-sculpting.github.io/

You are more than welcome to include this in the current template. And I can polish the design and merge it into the repo.
