Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I open Netsentry

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see 1 mobile network (2G/3G) and 1 WiFi. But I see 2 mobile network
(2G/3G) -> rmnet1 & rmnet0 and 1 Ethernet -> eth0

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.1.2 of Android Desire with Froyo

Please provide any additional information below.
It would be great if I would see I mobile network to keep track of my
datausage...

Thanks Jeroen!

I suspect the second device to be the wifi tethering device, but I don't know
for sure. I'll have to check this out with the device of a friend of mine. If
I'm not mistaken, he has a Desire too..

I have HTC desire 2.2 with netsentry 1.2.2

When I use my mobile connection, rmnet0 and rmnet1 change (I don't know why I
have 2). When I use wifi, eth0 changes. And using tethering it is wl0.1

Thanks for your work!

Inbetween I'm puzzled with regard to the 3 Interfaces
Ethernet as display shows is definitely WiFi
svnet0 with a ?mark seems to be HDSPA or 3 G
pdp? as I'm not using tethering at all could traffic to/from
laptop example KIES with my Galaxy S2 i9100 but I'm not sure anymore abpout this
is there an update on the way wiping out the ?marks and gives input what is
svnet0 and pdp0 in real
appreciate hints to this

Hi, greeting all I'm from Australia.
I think i have the same problem, I'm using samsung galaxy s2 normally there is
Ethernet(Wifi) and pdp0(3G) but now there is svnet0?. It seem to be eating my
DATA even though I have APN On/OFF enable so that I only used WIFI at home, not
Both 3G and WIFI at the same time.
What is svnet0?
Thank You For Reading.

I have the opposite problem. I WANT BOTH interfaces to remain on. I will turn
on or off the wiring or 3g when I want. I don't want one to shut off when the
other is turned on. How can I keep both interfaces up?
Samsung Galaxy, Vibrant. 2.1-update
