Interface details view opens all empty #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn off 3G network
2. Open the details view for the 3G interface
3. Because there are no changes to the interface, the ContentObserver does
not get invoked and the details view stays all empty.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The ui should perform an initial update of all the ui components even if
there are no changes to the counters.
