No gesture captured on MacBook Pro v8.1 #145

Hi,

I have MacBook Pro, I tried Ubuntu 11.10, 12.04 and Debian (with compilled
utouch libs) and touchegg seems to be nonfunctional.

I see "Reading config from..." and that is all. No gesture is captured. Is
there any way to try uTouch libs, if there is everything OK?

In Ubuntu 11.10 and in 1.04 with a MacBook Pro you only need to install
Touchégg
<packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=touchegg&searchon=names&suite=all§ion=all>
 with

 $ sudo apt-get install touchegg

And run it. In adition in Precise, you can use more new features:

 https://lists.launchpad.net/multi-touch-dev/msg00955.html
 https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/TouchpadSupport

Theoretically all must work, if you have any problem try to ask in the uTouch
official web page:
