TouchEgg on MacBook Air 5.2 (2012) #182

Hello, I have recently bought a MacBook Air and I have installed Ubuntu. I have
followed all steps. First I installed touchelgg from repository, but I had
segment faults. So, I downloaded the code, compiled and installed. Now I do not
have any error, but when I change the driver of my touchpach (copy
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf to /etc/X11/xorg.conf and change
"synaptics" by "evdev") I can not move the pointer, only click. If I use
synaptics touchegg do not work neither.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

What version f Ubuntu are you using? Remeber that change the driver is only
necessary in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, in newer version no configuration
is required.

Are you using Unity?

In theory your macbook air is supported out of the box, check the FAQ to know
more about Unity limitations and how to use gestures with 2 and 3 touches in
Precise or newer.
