This is the problem. The lasted version is for Natty.. and about the CPU is a
bug of uTouch-GEIS, the library that uses Touchégg:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/utouch-geis/+bug/666749
Test Touchégg without a trackpad can give problems

thanx for your quick answer.

i don't have the latest version, i forgot i've downloaded the last version for
maverick,
i could suggest you to implement the param:
touchegg --version ( which is not exist for me )

About jitouch, i m not the developper, and i don't yet have a mac but you can
see videos on the website, you could be inspired by some features ;)

best,

One thing that I find especially interesting about jitouch is the character
gestures function.
Something similar (or even better ;) ) could be achieved by somehow combining
touchegg and easystroke (a program for recordable mouse gestures).
However, currently, easystroke seems to have some problems with touchscreens
and I could not find a way to trigger easystroke via touchegg.

The problem is that the Linux multitouch stack is not as powerful as the Apple
stack. For the moment I'm implementing other gestures like Rotate and
DoubleTap, but probably in the future I'll add more complex gestures, greetings!
