touchegg 0.3 on ubuntu oneiric #80

after a recent update, touchegg does not react anymore on ubuntu oneiric alpha 
2.

Tapping results in the following error:
[+] Unknown gesture: 
    Name ->  QVariant(QString, "Tap") 
and dragging:
[+] Unknown gesture: 
    Name ->  QVariant(QString, "Drag") 

I guess touchegg 0.3 is not compatible with a new utouch version.

Just tried the current version from SVN, it behaves exactly the same way.

Hi!

Really, I haven't tested for the moment Oneric, but I'm making big changes in 
Touchégg right now, that I'll upload to the SVN as soon as possible. I'll say 
it to you and if the problem persist I'll install Oneric.....

Hi!

I have been updated the SVN code just right now. Please, note that the 
configuration file has totally changed, now it uses an XML format, and in my 
opinion is more easy and intuitive configure Touchégg.

Please, test it and copy&paste the output if you have any problem.

Now it works perfectly again, thanks!

The XML config file looks far better than its predecessor and is really easy to 
edit.
The only "problem" I found is that Gedit does not like the <touchégg> and 
</touchégg> tags because of the "é", maybe that contradicts some XML 
standard? Anyway, this does not influence the file's functionality ;)

When will the new version be released? Old version does not work on Oneiric.

Check the downloads tab:

The 1.0 version is available since few weeks... And now Touchégg is in the 
Ubuntu Repos:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/touchegg

But I don't know if they have intention of update to the 1.0 version before 
release Oneiric :S You can try report it as a bug in launchpad, I haven't got 
installed Oneiric and I can not test
