Work in here hiding the reticle if/until mouse is being used, etc.

perhaps show a red line connecting Xam to the reticle

Here's how we should do it:

User selects New Game
Begin tutorial, with a "Skip tutorial" button someplace (probably buttom right of arena)
Display a drop-down modal at the top of the screen explaining the basics like moving, shooting and whatever else is deemed necessary
After going through that shit, move on to Wave 1
Game is saved here, so the user can Continue at Wave 1 without seeing the tutorial again
PROFIT

Add a "Skip" button or whatnot. Clicking anywhere on the modal or pressing escape should skip the toturial.
