Unable to connect with Windows Live Writer #38

This is what I found. when I try to manually upload images through the WP post it show the following error:

Add media files from your computer Unable to create directory wp-content/blogs.dir/31/files/2012/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I've added:

127.0.0.1 lostechies.com

to /etc/hosts and I was able to connect via Windows Live Writer.

Can you please confirm?
