feedburner and feed urls #9

make sure all feeds urls redirect users to feeds.feedburner.com/lostecies

validated in google chrome dev toolbar that

/feed (redirects to /MainFeed) /MainFeed /?feed=MainFeed

return content, but return an HTTP response of 404. :(

I've resorted to Wordpress Support Forums

Needed to add at least one post to the admin site.

Going to see if we can get around this, but I don't care. It is working. Thank God.

RSS feed had latests posts but Feedburner wasn't grabbing them.

Looks like it is a known issue with feedburner and wordpress. Had to turn on the PingShot feature of Feedburner to ensure that latest posts are being grabbed by Feedburner.

Something to try: There's a plug-in named "WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages" (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-sitewide-tags/) which creates a single blog on the site. We could point feedburner to this blog as the main feed.

Installed a plugin for multisite aggregated feed and changed Feedburner to point to this feed which appears to have fixed the issue.
