"Loading gists..." in loop.

"Error running command gistpad.refreshShowcase: Remote end closed socket abruptly.. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes gistpad.refreshShowcase."

Tested with new created GH token. Already reinstalled extension. Tested on fresh VSCode. "GitHub Gist Explorer" Extension works again.

Hmm I'm not able to repro this 🤔

Did you say you were able to work around it by signing out and back into GH?

On "GitHub Gist Explorer" Extension, yes.

I am))! VM'ed on fresh VSCode copies, and it's definitely the current VSCode Insiders version, that sadly broke your lovely extension.

You're successfully signed in and can now manage your GitHub gists and repositories!

Error running command gistpad.refreshGists: Remote end closed socket abruptly.. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes gistpad.refreshGists.

I've to use Insiders, because in contrary to stable version it doesn't break (access permissions of a file or folder) another essential extension for me. Latest Insiders version from today didn't provide fixing. I'll wait for your or Insiders bugfixing.

++ just came here after trying gistpad for the first time. In my case I am unable to sign in -- I get the browser popup (macos - can be safari or chrome), but the 'signing in to github.com' pop up pane never disappears. This is also on insiders. I tried the release version, and the extension works ok.

Trying this morning 20231002 & with latest update, gitpad seems to be working again. Not used heavily yet

Seems to be working great for me as well. So I'm going to close this as no-repo. Let me know if you run into any issues. Thanks!
