Error Unable to create file "tmp/dpmlz/......./DEBIAN/md5sums

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Debian Package Maker to create package in tartget mode.
2. Add any precompiled app/any file for target directory.
3. Fill the required info in Package info.
4. Click on create package.

Please find the attached screenshot of error message box.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-Expected output should be a .deb file but the application doesn't creates.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Product Version- 0.1, OS - Ubuntu 10.04

I actually get the same error. Ubuntu 10.04. Any ideas?
