Hello,

I recently tried out a Sony ZS1 from T mobile. I loved the phone, but while I was in calls with Talkback turned on, the numbers stayed depressed way too long. I would activate the keypad and press a number and there would be a prolonged 2 or three second beep for each number. The only way to make the number stop, was to press another number or to simply wait, until the number was done beeping. However, this does not work with automated systems or when I was trying to talk to someone. The number would stay depressed and the person on the other end of the phone, could not hear me, over the continued beeping of the number. My boyfriend, who has some vision, shut Talkback off, and made a call. The keypad functions normally without it on. I tried out two phones of this type, and it still did it, with the second phone. I'd love to buy the mini version of this phone when it comes out, but I'd be afraid I'd have the same problem. I'm not sure if it's a sony issue or a Talkback issue, but it's obviously an issue between the Sony shell and Talkback. I tried out the Sony Z from T mobile, running Jelly Bean 4.1, which is last year's model of phone, and it worked flawlessly and did not have this problem that the ZS1 has, running Jelly Bean 4.3.

1. Activate Talkback.
2. Make a call.
3. Activate the keypad or dialpad.
4. Press buttons and hear the prolonged beeps.

I would expect the phone to just have normal beeps, when digits are entered while in a call, as it does when out of one. as it is, it makes it impossible to use automated systems with Talkback, or to talk to someone.
